  • Description:
    • A masterpiece of intricacy, that took weeks of painstaking effort carving and masking/plating the surface of a clear borosilicate marble. 
    • The Kaleidoscope name derives from the clear window on the front of the marble, which magnifies the intricate and vibrant pattern on the back creating a kaleidoscope-like effect
    • Amazing scenes of golden Cranes soaring across, along with vibrant Temari balls, flowers, and knots embellish the marble from every angle
    • On the other side is a Turtle on golden wings, another symbol of happiness and longevity in traditional Japanese folklores, along with the crane
    • Also included is a Mount Fuji with the first sunrise of the year, which along with cranes and turtles, means good luck and happiness for the upcoming year in the Japanese New Year tradition 
    • The silver-plating technique used is from a traditional Japanese art style called "Makie(蒔絵)" originated from Ishikawa Prefecture 
    • One of the most intricate examples of carved patterns on a borosilicate marble, if not the most
