The Tourbillon was developed by Eric Ross in 2016 as an alternative to the basic quartz/cap setup. The recent trend of spinning beads and other items inside of the quartz made these very popular. The precisely drilled holes at angles spin beads with ease when the quartz is capped with a marble or anything else that seals the top.
